Dokkaebi are the mischievous spirits native to Korea. The purpose of Meet Dokkaebi is to serve as an introduction to these enigmatic creatures via their stories. My current introduction, Meet Dokkaebi – 0, will probably evolve as I dig deeper into the dokkaebi mythos. The current iteration is based upon what was readily available to me, but already a deeper and more complex portrayal of the dokkaebi has been unfolding the further I explore. This is to be expected, and I’m quite interested to see where this will lead!
